Noritaka Tatehana 舘鼻 則孝
舘鼻則孝は、そのコレクション作品がファッション業界やアート界で賞賛されている靴デザイナーです。彼の作品は Lady Gaga や Daphne Guinness にこよなく愛されることで広く知られています。 ノリタカは、東京の中心部に位置する娯楽地区歌舞伎町でで銭湯｢歌舞伎湯｣を営む家系に生まれました。鎌倉で育ち、15歳の時に自分でドレスや靴を作り始めました。彼は東京藝術大学で美術と彫刻を学び、その後染色と製織を専攻しました。彼はまた、江戸時代 (1600年 – 1800年半ば) の遊女に関する文化ともに、高位の礼服を研究していました。 彼の現在のコレクションは、この時代に流行した高いプラットフォーム下駄の影響を示しています。また、その間、伝統的な日本の染色方法である友禅を使って着物や下駄を制作していました。 2010年、彼は自分のメゾン、NORITAKA TATEHANA を設立。彼の靴の製造工程のすべてのステップはデザイナー自身によっての手作りで、各ペアの完成までに数ヶ月かかります。
