With over two decades of experience across health, Zubin's career in healthcare provision from a surgeon's standpoint has spanned both the public and private sectors across continents — taking in cities such as
Dublin, Oxford and Singapore. This breadth of global experience informs the insights he brings to clients as they navigate their most complex healthcare and innovation challenges.
Most recently, Zubin served as Asia Pacific Health Industries Leader at PwC Global Health Industries, and as Health Industries Leader for PwC Singapore and Southeast Asia Consulting — roles spanning nine years in which he worked with governments, health systems, and investors across the region. He now leads as Group Director of the Technology Innovation Office at National University Health System (NUHS) in Singapore. He is also Co- Founder of HiruX, a global network of clinical ambassadors, surgeons, educators, and healthtech advocates.
Zubin has extensive experience in Digital Health, Medical Education, HealthTech and MedTech, and serves as a Consultant, Advisor and Mentor to a number of start-ups and individuals in these spaces, both locally and internationally. He holds Bachelor's Honours Degrees in Medicine, Surgery and Obstetrics & Gynaecology from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI), as well as two Master's Degrees in Orthopaedic Surgery from the RCSI and National University of Singapore (NUS).
Having published extensively over the last decade, with more than thirty publications to his name — including as an invited author for the Economic Times — Zubin continues to write and contribute actively to the field. He has served on faculty at Harvard Medical School's Surgical Leadership Program, and sits on the External Advisory Board of the RCSI.
A healthcare thought leader and a strong believer in collaboration, Zubin is driven by a desire to bridge the gap between the technical and clinical sides of digital health — and to ensure that innovation in healthcare is shaped by those who have worked within it.
