Daphne Iking is a multi-talented Malaysian media personality, high-protocol emcee, HRD Corp certified corporate trainer, and social advocate with over two decades of experience on stage and screen.
Daphne began her career in broadcasting after completing a Bachelor's degree in TV, Film, and Radio Broadcasting and a Master’s degree in Screen Studies at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). Starting as a Broadcast Journalist at TV3, she quickly became one of Malaysia’s most recognizable television anchors. She hosts flagship programs across genres, including Ringgit Sense (TV3), Explorace (TV3), The Breakfast Show (NTV7), and the award-winning talk show Bella (NTV7), as well as TLC’s Say Yes to the Dress Asia. An accomplished actress, she won the Most Promising Actress (Pelakon Harapan Wanita) award at the 23rd Malaysia Film Festival for her role in Belukar.
Beyond television, Daphne is an established Master of Ceremonies and moderator for high-level corporate galas, ministerial functions, and international events, including the 27th ASEAN Summit and the World Islamic Economic Forum. As a published columnist, her writing has appeared in The Star (Different Spin column), Astro Awani, and Baiboo Parenting Magazine.
In recent years, Daphne has expanded her career into executive education, wellness, and advocacy. She is the founder of Deft Talks, a public speaking and communication training program, and works as an executive corporate trainer, motivational speaker, certified prenatal yoga instructor, and perimenopause coach. A passionate champion for child welfare and human rights, she actively advocates against statelessness in Malaysia, delivers motivational talks, and supports initiatives for women’s health and children’s rights nationwide.
