Wei Du is a leading journalist with Channel News Asia (CNA) who was previously with Bloomberg TV. Based in Hong Kong, Wei Du reports and presents on the politics, economics and business of China and Hong Kong. Her recent assignments include the months-long anti-government protests in Hong Kong and nuclear threat and disarmament talks on the Korean Peninsula. Wei Du has secured interviews with top newsmakers, including government ministers and leading international business leaders. During her time with CNA in Singapore, she co-anchored the channel's flagship midday news bulletin, "Asia Connect", and also hosted the channel's highly rated reality show, "Invest in Me." She reports from around the SEA region, including Hong Kong, Korea and Japan.
