Dr. Yasmin Al Bulushi has spent her lifetime acquiring practical experience in both academia and training with the main purpose of further enhancing the development of Omani society. She has 20 years knowledge in education and passionately believes in creating positive changes in the lives of people around her through education.

Dr. Yasmin followed her passion for education, beginning as a language teacher in the Ministry of Education in 1997 and 5 years later moved into higher education as an educator, mentor and shaper of the College of Banking & Financial Studies. Her contributions to the College are boundless leading to her role as Assistant Dean, Academic Support & Students’ Affairs. Other than her major contributions to the College, Dr. Yasmin has actively been engaged in various aspects of teaching and research including women’s leadership, communication skills, work life balance, stress management and emotional intelligence. She is a certified EQ trainer, a coach and an assessor by Six Seconds.

Dr. Yasmin is a well-respected figure in Oman and holds a senior position at the Oman Academic Accreditation Authority for Higher Education Institutes. She is also a member of the executive committee of the Oman Quality Network of Higher Education. She has held many other senior positions in education and training including Member of the Board of Trustee, Muscat University and External Reviewer for the Ministry of Higher Education.

Dr. Yasmin now spends most of her time inspiring the next generation of leaders to achieve, not only in business but in all areas of their lives. She specialises in developing high potential employees and preparing them for managerial roles through well-structured programmes and has led numerous workshops for corporations such as HSBC, National Bank of Oman, Bank Muscat and Bank Dhofar.

Dr. Yasmin secured her doctorate in education with the University of Leeds, UK and previously attained her undergraduate as well as master’s degree from one of Oman’s most prestigious universities, Sultan Qaboos University.
