A pioneer in the mobile industry since the 1990s, Inma is a serial entrepreneur, an angel investor in technology and a spokesperson and ambassador for the UK Trade & Industry Business Catalyst programme in matters of digital economy, entrepreneurship and knowledge transfer.
Having previously worked in the financial industries (Goldman Sachs Private Banking, Institutional Investor), Inma headed the New Technologies Research for Global Markets at telecoms giant Cable & Wireless and was one of the pioneers in the establishment of the first mobile data protocols. In 1999 she embarked in creating one of the world’s first mobile companies that disrupted the way consumers enjoy mobile content which personalised the major operator portals of the early 2000s. She has been a corporate advisor to private and public companies (Nokia Oy, Benefon Oy, LG, Palm, HP, EPSON Business Council, IBM Smart Planet) and government institutions (the European Union Technology Commission, the UK Sport England’s Innovation Fund, the British government funding arm for sport, media and culture). As a digital media advisor Inma has created strategy for media, music, film & TV and fashion retail / luxury brands worldwide.
Fortune and TIME have described her as one of Europe’s top talents in social engagement through technology, Red Herring ranked her among the top 40 women in technology, and FastCompany labelled her a "firestarter”.
